A shout out to GABE

Yes, I know the ol' blog gets a little dull these days, and I know that "Toothless in Alabama" got way to much air time, so I am hereby proclaiming to post 3 blogs in the next 72 hours. I have slighted my children on this blog and left out many important events, so this will be a recap, if you will, of the last several weeks. Today, I will spotlight Gabe & his latest accomplishments. (he just loves to see himself on here!) Next blog will be Ansley, then Amelia, so as not to leave anyone out. Oh yeah, I'll try to throw in a bit or 2 about Christian & Boo Kitty...maybe.

Working backwards....

Only 1 more T-Ball game left! It's Gabe Ruth!? Okay, I'll lay off any humor...it's kinda stale today.

Batter Up!

It's Good!

Run, Gabe, Run! (& stick out your tongue...it helps you go faster!)

This is one of my favorites.... cute!

Slidin' home...

SAFE!

He's not only a jock, but brainy too ladies! Gabe got his 2nd trophy this year for Bible Memory Challenge from our church. He learned a ton of verses, not to mention ALL the books of the Bible! So proud of you big guy!

The last day of Kindergarten was fun for Gabe, but a little sad for Mama. Now he has to go to "big school" next year. YIKES!

The class with Mrs. Melissa & Ms. Lynda

On the slide with his buddies...

And shamefully, I didn't post any pics from the birthday, so here goes:
Birthday Breakfast...yummm...
Birthday at school...
Birthday at home...
A trip to Chuck E. Cheese with some favorite school pals topped his day! Happy 6 Big Guy!
(That oughta be enough Gabe to hold you for a while!)

It's hard to believe he's so big and cute... and smart. I have to admit I'm starting to feel a little old (older, anyway). Gabe is such a great kid! I'm glad I got to hold him when he was just a little baby and now see him grow (from a distance) into a fine young boy.

Wow! Look at that sliding into home. What a baseball player! Gabe, you are just plain cool. Sorry I couldn't be there for this birthday. It looked like lots of fun! May the force be with you.

Love,
Mr. Lee (& Mrs Jennifer)
