M-I-C-K-E-Y-M-O-U-S-E!

That is all we here around the house since our return from Disney on Friday! 5 fabulous days of Disney World!! Our trip got off to a great start when we arrived at our Hotel- The Grand Floridian. As I stood in the lobby looking all haggard & tired from an 11 hour drive, toting a baby, with 2 little kids on each leg asking where is Daddy ?(parking the car), when are we going to our room?, where's Mickey?, and countless other questions, the hotel manager approached me and said he had a surprise for us. When Christian arrived, we were escorted to the center of this gorgeous, luxurious lobby and a band on a balcony began to play...to us! "Ladies & Gentlemen, please welcome our Family of the Day, The Scales family from Huntsville, Alabama!" The kids were handed huge bouquets of balloons, an official "Family of the Day" certificate and they made our picture. We were put on a golf cart with all our luggage and given a brief tour of the resort and taken to our wonderful room! Setting pretty high standards for our 1st visit to D-World!

That night we had dinner with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Drizella & Anastasia, and the kids loved it. They got really into the whole autograph/picture thing! By the end of the week we had collected 20-30 signatures in their books.

Amelia loved the rides as much as anybody!
She saw most of Disney from this primo-spot on mine or Christian's chest. And to be 7 months old, I think she rode everything that didn't have a height requirement.

The Pigtail Princess.
Nothing would do but for Ansley to wear pigtails everyday, and I couldn't have been more delighted, taming those wild curls out of her eyes!

Waiting on the ferry boat.
About 20 steps outside our hotel door, we could just hop on the boat and be at the Magic Kingdom entrance in 5 minutes. It was great, and a ride all it's own!

Well, Gabe didn't become ruler over all of England on this trip, but he said "it wiggled a little", so we are fairly certain that on our next trip to Magic Kingdom, he will definitely be bigger & stronger and able to pull it out.

Our last night....we managed to shut the park down most nights and the fireworks just got better & better. Seeing Tinkerbell fly down from the top of the castle was so magical! We are all in agreement that it is the Happiest Place on Earth!
