Halloween is one of my most-favoritist holidays! I love decorating, dressing up the kids, and most of all eating candy! The weather was perfect for trick-or-treating and needless to say G & A had a blast. Gabe was a very convincing (&original) Harry Potter, and Ansley, last minute, decided to be Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. Amelia was a baby chick just hatching from an egg... Precious! This was recycled from Ansley's 1st Halloween. I simply put her in the Bjorn and cut out "eggshell" from foam paper and also made a little eggshell hat. I just velcroed it onto the Bjorn with stick-on velcro. So simple and it got lots of compliments. Even with our normal high volume of trick-or-treaters, somehow we still have large volumes of chocolate lingering aroung the house. Always buy the good-stuff just in case that happens!
The best part (& Gabe's favorite) was the talking pumpkin across the street. This pumpkin carried on conversation with Gabe for 10 minutes at a time! (We made 3 trips over just to converse with The Talking Pumpkin. Hilarious what you can do with a speaker and a willing individual behind an open window & blinds. It made for an unforgettable halloween!

I can't believe you found the time (and energy!) to post this! How fun seeing how cute your kids were all over again!
At Halloween Ethan and I were talking about what costumes he had worn each year. When we talked about his first Halloween I had vivid memories of Gabe in his ducky costume, Chloe as a ladybug and Ethan the froggie. I dug up these pictures--
