Saturday afternoon Gabe successfully mastered the road without training wheels!
With all the bike practice this week, we realized that Ansley's knees were knocking the handle bars of the tricycle, so of course this prompted a trip to Target for a new big-girl bike that just couldn't wait until Christmas...
I don't know if I've ever seen anything so girlie! It came complete with flower-reflectors, shiny handlebar streamers, backpack (to safely transport lambie), and most importantly the pink barbie water bottle! Ansley stops about every 10 feet to rehydrate. A girl's gotta stay cool in 100 degree heat!
Kudos to dad for all the bike chasing he did this weekend!
A trip to the neighborhood pool topped off a hot day....Gabe is now jumping off the big diving board and swimming to the ladder without anyone in the pool "just in case". I'll have to get a picture of this to post soon!
Christian & Gabe hit a little league baseball game on Sunday afternoon, followed by more bike riding, followed by church, followed by a Huntsville Stars game!
They even caught not one, but 2 foul balls!!! ...Check out all the people in the general admission section.... Thank goodness dad didn't have to get nasty with anyone to catch his kiddos a baseball!
I think it was nice having the stands to themselves. I forgot to even ask who won the game....my guess is, they didn't even care, because they got to eat pizza, m&m's & coke!
Their addition to the blog....we love you daddy!
This next photo lets you know how tired they were...Ansley didn't even make it to the bed...

Man what a weekend. I need a nap just reading that. But what fun it sounds like you guys had! I do not even think i can compete with that...but man i will sure try....
we could pull a all-nighter friday night but who would take care the the kids? Christian seems pretty conditioned to the no sleep thing...we could always check with him. Just kidding....
I really hope that we and your trip this weekend make your blog. We will have to get some good shots!

We miss you all so much. I hope this past weekend ranks as high as the last--my kids sure loved playing with the Scales...althought they don't actually know they played with "the Scales"! :) Just kidding!!!
