Today was a great day! Sweet Amelia Jane rolled over from back to front (we've long mastered the front to back roll). She was so proud of herself as was I! Naturally she would not perform for the video camera. So now I have about 10 minutes of footage of her lying on her back looking at me as if I'm crazy, while I in my best goofy-parent voice say "come-on...come-on...you can do it....show mommy how you roll..." while dangling toys & pacifiers to her left, just out of reach, in order to coax her into a roll. Kids will never miss an opportunity to make you look like an idiot.
We are lovin' the bumbo chair! (on loan from a friend) For all you mom's with baby's pre-sit up age (3-6 months), this is a fabulous find. While it is one more baby item to clutter the house, this one is sooo portable...As seen in above pictures, just take it outside and plop it on the patio table. She feels like such a big girl in it.

Love baby Amelia, the bumbo, your amazing cat, and those bugs. It's not every day you find a scene from the Discovery Channel in your very own bathroom (at least I hope not!)
Man i cannot believe i have not had my hands on that sweet girl. I cannot wait to catch up on hugs and kisses next weekend! Mandy start dusting off your old diving board skills...i think we are going to have some adult competition/games at the pool. I have really gotten good at the ol' cannon ball lately.
