Randomness...

1. I'm still alive! There may not even be any of you left checking this blog to even know this.

2. I will need a twelve-step program to get me un-addicted to http://www.valleymls.com/ ! What is the deal? You know it is bad when you have every piece of listed property in SE Huntsville memorized by location, lot size, & price. I can currently scan 250 listings in about 2 1/2 minutes because my eye is trained to recognize new listings only.

3. I'm scared to even go here, but I think old man winter may be gone. Even though we had snow on the ground less than 48 hours ago, I really think warm sunny days are near. I think the kids can feel it too. They are a little more giddy & excited about something...so I think it's the prospect of shorts, t-shirts, & twirly sundresses.

4. I have a longing desire to learn to paint. Not walls...ART! I would love to oil paint, but I am beginning to realize that I just might not be patient enough to wait for the drying, multi-steps, and stinky brush cleaning. So, I'm going to start with acrylics. At least to learn, so that I don't get frustrated. I've found a local person that does fun girl's night type parties. Saw her booth at the Spring Market this weekend. http://www.myspiritedart.com/ I'm excited about this!

5. Amelia turns 1 at the end of this month (unbelievable) and I planned her party 2 months ago. Complete with party favors, plates, napkins, and invitations. Problem: I've realized she has no friends. What kind of mother am I? Gabe & Ansley had their very own social click by age 1 and plenty of friends to invite. They were at playgroup twice a week. What am I to do??? Of course there are a few Sunday school friends, but I can't say that they would have a clue who Amelia is. Let's face it, babies in class for 45 minutes hardly have "social time". They are busy watching bubbles, eating cheerios & puffs, and patting bibles! And of course learning all about God & Jesus! So I'm putting it out there.....

AFB (adorable female baby) SEEKING OTHER AB IN NEED OF PLAY DATES. LOVES PEEK-A-BOO, PAT-A-CAKE, STROLLER RIDES, AND MOST FOODS. HAIR OPTIONAL. RESPOND SOON & SECURE YOUR INVITATION TO MY ONE YEAR BIRTHDAY PARTY....

Pathetic, huh?

Let's see if I can leave this post with a picture..........

I couldn't belive it when I walked outside & Christian had done this. Ansley was zipping all over the yard with Amelia's baby fat jiggling. Now I can't take her outside without her lunging for the Gator.

i love the picture. It's nice to know there are still feminine girls out there that aren't afraid to get a little dirty.

Amelia looks so cute...the belly is something else!!! I guess she does love most foods :) Why are big bellies so cute on babies and not on me?? :) Can't wait to hopefully see ya'll next week.
Love, Candy

Hey! I'm just now backtracking and catching up - I'll go ahead and say that Nate would love to be Amelia's friend (and not just to get a party invite :) We're generally around on Mondays and Wednesdays, so let's plan a play date and get Sarah and baby E to come too.
