Harvest Time!

Corn, cotton, soybeans and most importantly PUMPKINS is what you will find being grown & harvested at Tate Farm, a field trip meca! Gabe's kindergarten class had a BIG time there on Friday, and Ansley, Amelia & I got to tag along. This must surely be the south's largest pumkin patch and is ran like a well oiled machine. 2 hours of scheduled activity from snacks, bunny petting, going on a Sunflower field tour, playing in giant cribs of corn, corn train ride, hayride to pumpkin patch, hay bale maze, and an awesome barnyard playground to name a few! I'll spare you any more details, the pictures speak for themselves:

"The Corn Train"

Amelia basking in CORN!

Ansley making corn angels?

Gabe being buried in corn...how fun!

Pick of the crop

After selecting & cutting our very own pumpkins.

Needless to say, Amelia was field-tripped out.
She slept with her head in my hand for a good 30 minutes!
