That was the score...10 to 1. 10 being the score of the gray team. (note the color of Gabe's jersey)..... Although a win was not achieved at our 1st soccer game Tuesday night, Gabe gave emphatic Victory arms any time the ball went beyond the boundary lines! Goal or no goal, he was just thrilled to be a part of the team! In the orange team's defense, our completely novice players consisted of two 3 year olds, two 4 year olds, and two of the smallest 5 year olds in the league, while the gray team had some big husky boys who obviously lied on their entry forms! They looked every bit of 6! The best part for Gabe is that we played against his new best friend from school. Gabe cheered more for him than his own team! I loved it! He had sooo much fun and it was obvious by all his hustling and excitement he showed while on the field. Here are the best shots I got. Dad said he is in charge of the camera next game.
Oh yes...drinking water on the sidelines is very cool! (and isn't he a cutie!)

Isn't it so fun to watch your kids play sports? I love it!
I think your picture is great! Jeff always thinks he can take better pictures than me too. It is really hard to photograph a moving object. Looks like Gabe is really having fun--that's great!
